A little about Me
MJ Orgeron spent more than five decades in engineering, beginning his career as a structural design engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding before moving into the international oil and gas industry, where he specialized in LNG projects. Throughout his career he worked on complex engineering challenges that demanded precision, research, and analytical thinking.
Away from engineering, he cultivated a lifelong fascination with history, archaeology, astronomy, and theology. Those interests eventually found expression in historical mystery thrillers that blend documented history with carefully researched fiction, inviting readers to ask not only what happened—but what might have happened.
Originally from Louisiana and now living in Western Australia, MJ is the founder of Obolus Publishing. When he is not writing, he enjoys building museum-quality wooden ship models and continuing his research into the people, places, and ideas that inspire his novels.
